How we rank

Six checks. One published score. Dated every time it changes.

Every company on this site gets the same six editorial checks and the same review rules. The weights are below, the maths is below, and nothing on this page is for sale.

The six checks

Each company is scored out of 10 on six checks. The weights add up to 100% and produce the editorial score.

CheckWhat we look atWeight

Results vs promise · 30%

Views delivered against what was agreed, from reviews that state both numbers and from the company's own published case studies. A company that promises 20M views and reports 22M scores higher than one that promises 50M and shows nothing.

Reporting accuracy · 20%

Whether reports match what the brand can see in TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X analytics, and whether the company separates tracked views from verified views.

Pricing transparency · 15%

Published prices score highest: Clipping Culture's ladder, FORKOFF's per-qualified-view rate, the marketplaces' per-view model. "Quoted on a call" scores lower, even for a company that delivers.

Creator network · 15%

Size, vetting and fit for the niche. A bigger network measures reach, not quality, so this check is capped at 15%.

Support · 10%

Reply time and account handling, from brand reviews and from clipper reviews about rejections and payouts.

Contract terms · 10%

Minimums, exit terms and refunds. Campaigns that end when the target is hit score higher than open retainers.

The maths

Overall score = 70% editorial score + 30% user rating (converted to a 10-point scale).
Example: an editorial score of 9.2 and a user rating of 4.6 gives 0.7 × 9.2 + 0.3 × 9.2 = 9.2.

The user rating is not a plain average. Every company starts with a prior of 7 reviews at 3.5 stars, so one five-star review moves a new company to 3.7, not 5.0, and it takes about 40 reviews to reach 4.8 on five-star reviews alone. Reviews older than six months count half. That stops one review, good or bad, from swinging a score.

Brand reviews and clipper reviews are stored and shown separately. The clipper rating appears on profiles and on the platforms ranking; the brand rating feeds the overall score.

Review rules

  • Who can review: a brand, artist, founder or agency that hired the company, or a clipper the company paid.
  • What gets checked: duplicates, conflicts of interest and proof. A review backed by an invoice, contract or dashboard screenshot earns the Verified client label. Proof is seen only by moderators.
  • What gets published: everything that passes those checks, critical reviews included, normally within 48 hours.
  • Corrections: a company can send a correction with a source. It cannot edit or remove a review.
  • Declarations: reviewers declare any connection to a listed company and anything received for writing. A "yes" is shown as a label; it does not block publication.
  • Anonymity: once verified, a reviewer can be shown as "Verified client" instead of a name.

The full rules are on the review guidelines page.

Niche pages

A niche page lists the companies with a published fit for that niche, ordered by the same overall score. Lumina Clippers' three specialist desks (Crypto Clippers, Casino Clippers, Music Clipping Agency) have their own sites and are ranked inside their niche only, so Lumina appears once in the overall ranking.

Updates and corrections

Scores recalculate whenever a review is counted. The published order carries the date it was last changed, shown on every ranking page. A company that believes a fact is wrong can send the source through the contact page; corrections are made with a dated note on the profile.

What is not for sale

No pay-to-rank, no paid reviews, no sponsored slots. Companies cannot pay to change their score, their order or their reviews, and no page on this site carries a placement that was bought.
